A Week Off

Thanksgiving break is how it started. First, it was Wednesday and we got the day off of school because it was the day before Thanksgiving. What my family did was, slept in then we all got up and started cooking for tomorrow!

Thanksgiving is here, its Thursday and as we finish our cooking my grandma walks in the door to celebrate with us. Once we all get settled in we sit at the table for a dinner of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry salad, rolls, and pumpkin pie. We all eat and are full so we go sit down to watch a movie. As soon as the movie is over, my mom, sister, and grandma all leave to go black Friday shopping.

Monday comes and we all are ready for school when we get a call saying, school has been canceled. With a sigh of relief me and my sisters climb back into our beds. As Tuesday rolls around the corner again we get up, get dressed, and ready for school as another call comes in saying the same as the last. Instead of going back to bed today, we go outside to play in the 3 inches of snow we got!
